Demo Bike Sell Off - get in quick!

The time has come for our 2011 fleet of demo bikes to be sold off to good homes. We have loved and nurtured these great bikes for around 9 months now and kept them in perfect condition the entire time.  If you are a regular visitor to My Mountain I'm sure you would have noticed how well kept they are. All our demo bikes have 200-300 Km of riding and don't show any signs of wear at all. In fact you will be hard pressed to know they have ever been ridden. All our demo bikes still retain their full warranties and still come with our usual suspension tune, and bike fit.

Trek EX9
RRP     $3,999
Demo   $2,999

The EX 9 is going to hit the trail bike market like a George Foreman opponent. With a thump that is. The EX 9 straps on the some amazing parts on a frame, fork and wheels platform that is nothing short of Stella. 15mm QR up front and the new 142 x 12mm rear standard make the EX 9 as stiff as you like, while the custom tuned Fox DRCV shock and RLC fork will keep you in control. The EX 9 gets tubeless compatible DT Swiss wheels and a Shimano Dyna-sys shifting system making this trail bike the shinning star of the trail bike world. Trek has left no stone un-turned in the quest to build a performance packed trail bike legend.

Or if you have been hanging to to check out the 2012 EX9 it's online now!

Trek Paragon ( Gary Fisher Signature Series)

RRP $ 2,499
Demo $ 1,999

The Gary Fisher designed Paragon is our best selling hardtail at My Mountain and it’s not hard to see why. The Paragon comes ready to race, or ride all day epics weekend after weekend depending on what makes you tick. A Fox F series fork needs no introduction and the Mustang rims that are laced to Shimano M525 hubs are relatively light and maintenance free. The Paragon also jumps on the 10 speed band wagon with a SRAM/ Shimano drive train that will shift well under just about any condition. With a parts spec like this and the new price we don’t see any change coming in how popular the Paragon will be for those wanting a top notch 29er hardtail and a reasonable price.

Trek Scratch Air 9     RRP $ 5,999        Demo  $ 4,499

The Trek Scratch Air 9 is one of the bikes of the 2011 line up that stands out in the looks department. It could just be the flashy red DT Swiss wheels, or the understated frame colour scheme with colour matching logos, or a whole bunch of other small attention to detail that the Trek engineers gave this beauty. But whatever it is, the Scratch Air 9 has mojo baby yeah! The Fox Talas FIT fork works fantastically on this bike as lowering the fork from 160mm to 120 transforms the front end of the bike making riding up the hill not only viable, but quite efficient. Working alongside the adjustable fork travel is the Crank Bro’s Joplin seat post that drops your saddle four inches with the flick of a switch. So with your saddle switched to the low position and your fork at 160mm of travel you are ready to rock the descents. While ripping downhill you will notice the ride to be stiff and direct with point and shoot precision that comes via the endless list of frame and interface technologies used on this bike. Every small piece of the technology puzzle adds up to a massive result. An awesome result. We at My Mountain solute the Trek engineers for the Scratch Air 9.
