That's the discussion we've been having in the My Mountain workshop this week, after we
had opened the cardboard box to reveal this
mini-DH bike from Commencal. Although you may not be able to tell, this little 6" travel beast has smaller 24" wheels, oodles of standover clearance and a top tube about as long as my big toe. Designed to go downhill fast, the Supreme Racing DH 24" is a slack-angled gravity-fed rocket, primarily designed for the more vertically-challenged rider. The lucky lady who will be riding this chihuahua-esque bike joins My Mountain's growing fraternity of DH riders, flying the flag for those who prefer not to ride uphill.
In other DH-related news, My Mountain is now a sponsor of the VIC DH State Series and will be supporting the final 3 rounds of the series. We will have the My Mountain "Taj Mahal" at each event starting with Mt. Beauty next weekend. In order to blend in, our tent will be complete with DH-specific touches such as scantily-clad women, aggressively-labeled energy drinks and offensive rap music.
More details to come...
