Round 5 Vic DH Series - Mt Beauty

The mud didn't stop over 200 riders hit up the epic Mt Beauty DH course over the weekend in Round 5 of the Vic DH  series.                                    

One thing that stands out at these events is the fun friendly atmosphere of riders, organisers and spectators as they all walk around with smiles and grins from all the gravity fuelled fun.  My Mountain was in attendance as a sponsor while also supporting a couple of top gun riders in Ben & Brett.  Both guys were sporting the MM colours which meant I did everything I could to keep them and there bikes rolling.

Brett having a small brake issue (lack of brakes being the issue) and Ben turning his front wheel into a  taco were a couple of the challenges the boys came up against throughout the weekend on top of the constant rain and magnetic like mud on the course.  But being "all part of racing" both Ben and Brett struggled through the mud to throw down some good times on the course and every time make it back to the tent with big smiles.

At the end of the day Brett came home with 19th and Ben 7th which was a great result.
