Pivot Cycles Land

Quietly in the back ground at My Mountain  discussions have been happening regarding our brand mix and whether or not a change was needed.  Well if you have looked over our site recently or received our latest update you will know we have in fact mixed things up a bit.  The biggest news from this shake up is the welcoming of Pivot to the My Mountain stable. We are pretty excited to be Victoria's latest Pivot Cycles dealer.

Jerry is putting the finishing touches on our Pivot Mach 5.7 in the workshop today.  This new model for 2011 has Pivot Cycle's efficient dw-link suspension with 140mm front & 145mm of rear travel,  this is one capable machine. This one in particular has the SLX build that brings the pricing down to a more affordable level and will appeal to those who want the boutique feel at a middle of the road price. More information about the Mach 5.7 is detailed on the product page.

Here is our small Mach 4 demo bike.  But as you can probably tell from the picture a small from Pivot isn't that small.  In fact this frame size has a  17.2" seat tube which for most would be described as a medium.  The Mach 4 bikes go down to an XXS size that has the lowest standover of any full suspension bike on the market.  This stealthy looking beauty has the XT build that comes with a Fox RLC FIT cartridge fork and DT Swiss wheels.  The all new Shimano Dyna-Sys 3X10 system is quite impressive with the cranks being a work of CNC machining art.  More info on the Pivot Mach 4 XT build can be found on the product page.  For those of you wondering if they are worth the money or whether they really stand up to the Pivot claims we have a couple of demo bikes.  We are confident those who ride will agree.
