Pictured above is the XTR M951 DH chainring from '98 in a monster 54t! DH is certainly a very different sport now.
This is one of my prized possesions as it is covered in autographs from the first World Cup DH round to be held at Fort William in 2002. I can't make them all out but the legible ones are, Steve Peat, Brian Lopes. Missy Giove, Bas De Bever, April Lawyer, Wade Bootes and Kathy Pruitt.
Aussies did well that day in the mud with Chris Kovarik winning and Nathan Rennie in 3rd.
